Construction Distribution Australia (CDA) is seeking a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our Truganina workshop on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a varied, practical role supporting our workshop team to keep machinery looking its best, the yard organised and our mechanics equipped to get the job done. If you enjoy working with machinery, getting stuck into a variety of tasks and being part of a team that takes pride in its work, we would like to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

- Providing hands-on assistance to mechanics with general workshop tasks

- Assisting with the movement, preparation and presentation of machinery
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop and yard

- Carrying out general yard maintenance and cleaning duties

- Supporting the wider workshop team as required

What are we looking for? We're looking for someone who is practical, motivated and happy to roll up their sleeves. You don't necessarily need previous experience in a dealership workshop, but you do need a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

You will bring:

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills and a willingness to take direction
- The physical fitness required for manual and hands-on work
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work setting
- A genuine interest in machinery and supporting a busy workshop





Previous experience in detailing, machinery, mechanical trades assistance or a similar hands-on role will be highly regarded.
