Howe Farming Enterprises is looking for a Trades Assistant to join our busy workshop team in Walkamin. Assisting with work on a diverse modern fleet across one of Far North Queensland’s leading agricultural operations.

- Great Lifestyle Roster: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, with a half-day Friday.
- Assisting Trades with work on tractors, harvesters, RTVs, light vehicles and specialised farming equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified tradespeople with daily manual tasks, installations, and repairs.
- Prepare job sites, load and unload materials, and handle general workshop cleaning.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment.
- Assist with moving machinery around farms.
- Maintain strict compliance with site safety policies and WHS procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (HR/MR advantageous).
- Previous experience in a trade, workshop, or labouring role
- Ability to follow direct instructions and work well in a team
- Positive physical fitness and a strong focus on safety
- Self-motivated attitude with pride in quality workmanship.
