You will be a key person in the office team at MRT Freight Services, a locally owned transport business with depots from Townsville to Mossman and the Atherton Tablelands. The role involves being the go-to contact for business partners, tracking consignments, and providing clear answers to customers and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Being the go-to contact for our Business Partners
- Tracking consignments and giving customers and our partners transparent answers
- Working closely with our drivers for delivery information
- Helping customers and making their day easier
- Supporting a friendly, hands-on operations team
About you
- Confidence with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Transport or logistics experience is a big plus, but if you're a quick learner with strong customer service skills, we'll teach you the rest
- A friendly,
calm manner on the phone and by email
- Someone who likes closing things out properly
