Tyrepower Margaret River is looking for full-time permanent Tyre Fitter to join their team on a full-time basis at least 38 hours per week.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Inspect tyres for tread wear, punctures and other damage, and determine whether repair or replacement is required.
- Remove worn or damaged tyres and fit replacement tyres using appropriate tyre-changing equipment.
- Repair suitable punctures in tubeless tyres and check completed repairs for air leaks.
- Balance wheel and tyre assemblies using electronic balancing equipment, making adjustments to correct imbalances.
- Check and adjust tyre pressures to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Check wheel alignment and make the necessary adjustments using wheel-alignment equipment.
- Explain tyre condition and replacement options to customers,
and provide practical advice on tyre care and maintenance.
- Maintain tyre-fitting tools and equipment, keep the workshop clean and organised, and follow safe working procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant Qualification or at least 1 year of experience in lieu of the qualification.
- The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience
- A strong commitment to secure work practices, a positive attitude and sound problem-solving skills.

Salary offered: $75,000 - $95,000
Type of Contract: Full time, at least 38 hours/week.
