Job Description

This role would suit an experienced dental receptionist who is confident using Oasis and can take ownership of the reception area. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, working closely with the Practice Manager, three dentists and the hygiene team.

Your hours:

- Monday: 8am to 6pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9am to 7pm
- Friday: 7:30am to 5:30pm

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, qualified first impression
- Managing appointments, patient enquiries and day-to-day reception duties
- Answering phone calls and assisting patients with their questions
- Processing payments, HICAPS and health fund claims
- Maintaining accurate patient records and keeping the front desk organised
- Working closely with the dentists, hygiene team and Practice Manager throughout the day
- Using Oasis practice management software and MS Office for day-to-day administration
- Supporting a positive patient experience, including for nervous or anxious patients
