We are seeking a skilled and exact Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team. In this role, you will lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles on both internal and external walls and floors to provide exceptional protective and decorative finishes. The ideal candidate must be highly competent in reading architectural layouts, preparing a variety of surfaces, executing clean finishes, and applying compliant waterproofing systems.
- Plan & Layout Execution: Examine plans and mark surfaces to plan the job layout.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by removing old materials, filling cracks, and leveling foundations.
- Waterproofing: Apply necessary waterproofing to wet areas.
- Tile Cutting & Shaping: Cut and shape tiles to fit around fixtures, corners, and pipes.
- Tile Installation: Lay and align tiles accurately using appropriate adhesives.
- Grouting & Finishing: Grout joints and clean surfaces for a polished finish.
- Specialized Materials: Work with granolithic, terrazzo, or mosaic patterns as required.
Job Requirements
- Technical Skills: Competency with diverse tile materials and custom layouts.
- Licensing: Appropriate trade licensing where mandated locally.
- Tools & Transport: Standard tools of the trade and valid transportation.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
