Service Experts Plumbing & Electrical is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. Working alongside our Warehouse Coordinator, you'll help keep our plumbing and electrical teams stocked, organised and ready for the day ahead.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in keeping things organised and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Replenishing plumbing and electrical service vehicles with stock and materials
- Picking and preparing materials for upcoming installation jobs
- Receiving deliveries, unpacking and putting stock away
- Assisting with weekly stock counts and inventory checks
- Helping manage supplier and consignment stock
- Identifying low stock levels and reporting shortages
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised warehouse
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and day-to-day operations
- Working with our Warehouse Coordinator to ensure technicians have what they need to get the job done
Hours
Monday to Friday 6:30am – 4:00pm
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable,
punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Is organised, practical and pays attention to detail
- Enjoys hands-on work and staying active throughout the day
- Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Takes initiative and doesn't need to be told what to do every minute
- Is comfortable with basic computer tasks and willing to learn new systems
- Holds a current driver's licence - manual licence a BONUS!
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
Previous warehouse, trade or stock-handling experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We're happy to train someone with the right attitude.
