Maroochydore GWM & Renault is seeking an experienced Automotive Warranty Clerk to join our busy Service Department in Kunda Park on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

We are looking for a highly organised, motivated and detail-oriented warranty professional who understands manufacturer warranty processes, takes ownership of their workload and prides themselves on accuracy, efficiency and achieving results.

This is an experienced-only position. Applicants must have previous automotive dealership warranty processing experience.

Hybrid working arrangements are negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience and operational requirements.

About the Role

Working closely with our Service Manager, Service Advisers and Workshop team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of manufacturer warranty claims across our GWM and Renault franchises. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing, submitting and processing manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within required timeframes.
- Ensuring all claims comply with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Reviewing repair orders to ensure technician reports, diagnostic information, labour operations and supporting documentation are complete.
- Following up outstanding, rejected and pending warranty claims to achieve timely resolution.




- Liaising with manufacturer warranty departments, Service Advisers, technicians and management.
- Monitoring claim submissions to ensure warranty claims do not expire or become unclaimable.
- Maintaining accurate warranty records and documentation.
- Assisting with manufacturer warranty audits and ensuring dealership compliance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve warranty processes, accuracy and efficiency.
- Working collaboratively with the Service Department to minimise avoidable warranty write-offs and maximise legitimate warranty recovery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Previous experience processing manufacturer warranty claims within an automotive dealership.
- A strong understanding of automotive manufacturer warranty policies, claim processing and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence managing warranty claims from submission through to finalisation.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Previous GWM or Renault warranty experience.
- Experience using Pentana ERA Power or similar dealership management systems.
- Experience processing warranty claims across multiple automotive franchises.
