Our highly experienced Wet-seal Rockhampton Franchisee is looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on person to join the team as a Waterproofing Applicator.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with building industry experience who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a quality job and wants to develop specialised waterproofing skills within an established and respected business.
You will receive comprehensive training in Wet-seal waterproofing systems and initially work alongside an experienced applicator until you are confident and competent in Wet-seal's product application and quality requirements.
An immediate start is available due to a strong and busy forward workload across the Rockhampton area.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying Wet-seal waterproofing systems to internal and external wet areas of residential and other buildings.
- Preparing areas ready for waterproofing in accordance with Wet-seal specifications.
- Travelling to and from scheduled job sites throughout the Rockhampton region areas.
- Arriving at jobs on time and working efficiently to meet daily schedules.
- Completing jobs to Wet-seal's quality, safety and application standards.
- Providing job completion information to the management team.
- Communicating professionally with builders, supervisors, other trades and customers on site.
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised work environment.
- Working independently and as part of the wider Wet-seal Rockhampton team.
- Working the reasonable hours required to complete scheduled jobs and meet customer timelines.

Waterproofing, tiling or painting experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous building or construction industry experience.
- A current construction industry White Card.
- A current Australian driver's licence, with a manual licence preferred.
- The legal right to work in Australia.
- The physical capability to undertake an active, hands-on construction role.
