ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER — WEST BROTHERS

Location: Mirrabooka, Perth

Employment: Full-time, 38 hours per week

Salary: $65,000–$70,000, depending on experience

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Mirrabooka store as the business continues to grow. You’ll be the Store Manager’s second in command, setting the standard on the floor, supporting the team and taking charge when the Store Manager is away.

This role suits an experienced retail leader who enjoys selling, coaching others and keeping a busy store running well.

THE ROLE

As Assistant Store Manager, you will:

- Lead shifts and help the team reach daily and weekly sales targets
- Coach staff on customer service, product knowledge and selling skills
- Track conversion, average sale value, units per transaction and other store results
- Help onboard, train and develop team members, including supporting performance conversations
- Build a positive, accountable team where staff feel supported and know what is expected of them
- Support rostering and ensure the floor has the right coverage
- Build relationships with returning customers and help the team deliver personalised service
- Maintain robust visual merchandising and store presentation
- Coordinate deliveries,



transfers, stocktakes and replenishment while keeping the stockroom organised
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and prevent stock loss
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling and daily reporting
- Help deliver promotions, new product launches and a smooth experience for in-store and online customers
- Handle customer concerns with care and sound judgement
- Take responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager is away

ABOUT YOU You have experience as an Assistant Store Manager, retail supervisor or team leader, with a record of helping a team achieve sales targets. You’re confident giving feedback, making decisions during a shift and stepping in wherever the store needs you.

You’ll work 38 hours per week on a flexible roster, including alternating Sundays. An interest in streetwear and sneakers will help you connect with our products, customers and team.
