Sparks Social Abilities is a rapidly growing provider delivering high-quality, engaging group programs and community-based supports for NDIS participants. We focus on building real-world social skills, independence, and confidence through structured programs and meaningful experiences.
We are not a passive support service — we run structured, outcome-driven sessions that require energy, initiative, and leadership.
The Role
- Support participants in both centre-based and community settings
- Build rapport and actively engage participants (no standing back)
- Complete accurate case notes and documentation
- Assist with transport, pickups/drop-offs
What We’re Looking For This role is not suited to low-energy or passive workers.
We want someone who
- Can lead a room and manage small groups confidently
- Has strong initiative and doesn’t need to be micromanaged
- Is engaging, social, and able to build genuine connections
- Understands how to support independence
- Can think on their feet and adapt sessions in real time
Essential Requirements at a minimum
- Experience in disability support, youth work, or similar field
- Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Blue Card (QLD Working With Children Check)
- First Aid & CPR
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Cert III/IV in Disability, Community Services, or similar
