YOUR GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Our newly structured 2027 New Graduate Program is designed to support your transition from university into confident, independent clinical practice.

Over your first two years, you'll benefit from a dedicated development pathway that brings together structured learning, regular clinical supervision, mentoring and opportunities to build your skills alongside fellow graduates across Vital Health.





The program is designed to help you build confidence progressively, develop your clinical reasoning and establish strong foundations for a rewarding career in Occupational Therapy.

YOUR FIRST YEAR

Your graduate year is a chance to find your feet as a clinician, build your skills and discover the areas of Occupational Therapy that interest you most.

In Inverell, you'll work across clinic, schools, preschools, homes and other community settings, with opportunities to do outreach. You'll gain experience working in a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment and intervention to children and adults in areas such as, fine and gross motor development, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social interactions, daily living skills, home modifications and assistive technology.

You'll have structured orientation and training, regular learning and development, dedicated administration and NDIS support, and caseload planning that considers your developing skills and interests.

You'll work alongside other Occupational Therapists as well as Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians.

MORE THAN A GRADUATE YEAR

We want Inverell to be somewhere you can build your career, not simply complete your first year.





That's why this role includes a $5,000 retention incentive across your first two years with Vital Health Inverell.

You'll receive $2,500 after 18 months of continuous employment and a further $2,500 when you complete two years.

It means more time to develop your clinical skills, build relationships with your clients and community, and work out where you want your career to take you next.

ABOUT YOU

You'll hold, or be completing, a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

You'll have full Australian working rights and a current driver's licence.

We're looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys being part of a team and wants the variety that comes from building their early career across different settings and areas of practice.
