Chief Operating Officer | Multi-Site Hospitality | Sydney You know what a valuable Saturday service looks like. You also know why one store is smashing it while another, ten minutes down the road, is struggling.
You can read the numbers, spot the problem and get alongside the team to sort it.
And even with 50+ sites in your remit, you’re still close enough to the action to know what’s actually happening.
Sound familiar? Keep reading.
The opportunity We’re working with a national hospitality brand with around 50–60 stores, a mix of corporate and franchise operations, and a growth roadmap towards 120–130.
They need a Chief Operating Officer who can turn that ambition into well‑run stores, strong teams and profitable growth.
Someone who’s opening sites, developing leaders, lifting standards and keeping the existing business firing while the next opening takes shape.
There’s strategy here. There’s also a lunch rush.
You need to be comfortable with both.
What you’ll get stuck into
Lead operations across the corporate and franchise network.
Build the people, systems and operational discipline to support a larger business.
Drive store performance through sales, labour, food costs and the guest experience.
Get new openings trading well, with teams ready for the doors to open.
Coach your operational leaders and hold them accountable for delivery.
Keep the connection between the growth plan and what happens in stores every day.
Your current title is less interesting than your current remit. You could be a State Manager, National Operations Manager, Operations Director or an existing COO.
What matters is that you’re currently leading at least 50 sites in QSR, fast casual or a similarly fast‑paced hospitality business.
You’ve opened stores. Built teams. Managed the competing demands of growth and day‑to‑day trading. You can point to results you’ve delivered and explain how you got there.
You understand the commercial detail, but you also understand people. You bring energy, build relationships and know when to coach, when to challenge and when to jump in.
Experience across corporate and franchise operations would be particularly useful.
Why make the move? For someone already doing the heavy lifting across a substantial network, this is a chance to bring that experience into a COO role with real scale and a clear growth agenda.
For an established COO who still loves operations, there’s plenty to get your teeth into.
Sydney-based. $260,000 + super.
If you read this and thought, “That’s pretty much what I do,” we should talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
