Full-time - Mornington Peninsula
Some people know early on that they want to work outside, with their hands, and see a real result at the end of the day. If that's you, and you've been looking for a team and a trade worth committing to - this might be the right move.
Modern Hedge is a premium hedge trimming and property care business on the Mornington Peninsula. We work on beautiful properties, we take the craft seriously, and we have a team that holds a high standard and actually enjoys the work.
We're not hiring just based on experience in this industry. We're hiring based on the right person - someone who genuinely wants to be part of a team, be working outdoors, cares about doing things properly, and wants to be part of something consistent and well-run.
What the role looks like
Full-time, salaried work across the Mornington Peninsula. You'll start each morning at our base before heading out on-site - working in pairs as well as solo, sometimes as a full crew on bigger jobs. You'll be trained in gardening & qualified hedge trimming and over time pick up additional skills.
Structure, standards, and showing up on time matter here.
If that suits you, you'll fit right in.
What we're looking for
- A genuine draw to outdoor, physical, detail-oriented work - not just a change of scenery
- Reliable and consistent - someone our team can count on
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit crew
- A current driver's licence
- Any background in trades, landscaping, labour, or property maintenance is a bonus
What you get
- Full-time salaried position
- Sick leave, annual leave, and all your entitlements - looked after properly
- A structured team environment with regular toolbox meetings and quarterly team celebrations
- Work you can see and be proud of at the end of every day
- A business that's been operating on the Peninsula for years and isn't going anywhere
We're a small team and we hire carefully. If this sounds like the right fit, we'd like to hear from you.
If applying, please include a short note — tell us what draws you to this type of work and a bit about where you're coming from.
