About the role

As a Warehouse and Loading Dock Store Person (All Rounder), you will be a very important part of our team to run our goods receiving warehouse and support our production and packing operations.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys a varied role and is comfortable working across warehouse, loading dock, coolroom packing and production environments.

You will be looking after receiving and checking stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating forklifts and supporting the packing and production teams when required.

Key responsibilities

- Receive stock and perform manual checks on all incoming goods to ensure stock levels are accurate and goods are free from damage.
- Load finished good on trucks.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and organise stock management.
- Assist with general warehouse and loading dock housekeeping.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment (loading dock, general warehouse, carpark).
- Assist the and packing teams when required.
- Keep production lines supplied with required materials
- Perform general housekeeping and repair duties in the warehouse and production areas.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Following all work health and safety and food safety policies and procedures

Forklift Duties

- Load and unload supplier and delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Operate a forklift to move and store pallets.




- Ensure forklift operations are carried out safely and in accordance with workplace procedures.

Shifts

- Weekdays with start times from 7:00am, with varied finish times

What we are looking for

- Previous experience in a warehouse, food manufacturing, distribution environment is essential.
- Current forklift licence and demonstrated forklift experience is mandatory.
- Technically minded and handy, with the ability to carry out basic repairs
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read and follow instructions.
- Physical capability to regularly lift, carry and move items weighing up to 25 kg.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Basic computer literacy, including basic Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to learn and use warehouse management systems.
- Reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Flexibility with working hours when required.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented team approach.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Pay: From $26.44 per hour
