The Clairfield Hotel is a premium boutique property in the heart of Mudgee, known for refined accommodation, thoughtful service, and high presentation standards. We are seeking reliable and detail focused Housekeepers to join our team and help deliver a consistently exceptional guest experience.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and reputation of The Clairfield Hotel. You will be responsible for servicing guest rooms and public areas to a high standard, ensuring rooms are clean, well presented, and ready on time for arrivals.

Shifts are primarily during the day and may include weekends and public holidays depending on occupancy.

Key Responsibilities

- Service guest rooms efficiently and to brand standard, including beds, bathrooms, amenities, and presentation
- Ensure all rooms meet cleanliness and quality benchmarks before release
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost property promptly and accurately
- Replenish linen, towels, and guest amenities as required
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, storage areas, and back of house spaces




- Follow all cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and SOPs
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and front office to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Uphold professional conduct and contribute to a respectful, positive workplace culture

What We Are Looking For

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hotels or similar environments preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
- Good time management and ability to work to deadlines
- Physically capable of a hands on role including bending, lifting, and being on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Availability to work weekends and peak periods
