This is an exciting opportunity to join the passionate and dedicated team at Little World For Discoverers as a Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher, working 5 days a week. Located in Oxenford, QLD, this role will see you play a vital part in shaping the early learning and development of our youngest community members.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based educational programs that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child
- Implement the approved learning framework to support children's holistic development across all areas
- Develop and maintain positive, nurturing relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, providing regular feedback to families
- Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that adheres to all relevant legislation and regulations
- Collaborate with the educational team to continuously improve practice and enhance outcomes for children
What we're looking for
We are seeking two full time (5 days per week) Staff with the following:
1x Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
1x Cert 3 Of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing engaging, play-based educational programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development
