We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors.As part of the Kiwa Group, we're backed by a global network of 12,000+ staff across 35+ countriesWe are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer – Tailings to join the teamin our Perth office, with proven experience delivering geotechnical solutions for tailings storage facilities.Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to develop, optimise and deliver geotechnical design solutions- Plan and undertake site investigations- Contribute to and lead elements of detailed geotechnical design across a range of projects- Provide technical input into the design, assessment, and ongoing management of tailings storage facilities- Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation and calculations,
ensuring alignment with relevant standards and best practiceQualifications/Experience/Attributes- Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer- Good analytical skills- Knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably but it is not essential (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)- Experience working on tailings storage facilities.- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must- Current Australian drivers license- Combination of office-based and field-based work, ability to travelWhat We Offer- Adaptable start and finish times- 9-day fortnight- Additional day leave on your birthday.- Office social events throughout the year- Excellent learning environment as well as an inclusive team environment.
