About the Role
- Completing your Professional Year requirements under the supervision of your adviser
- Joining client meetings as second chair adviser, taking detailed file notes and capturing clients’ goals, objectives and personal circumstances
- Working with the adviser on strategy across superannuation, personal insurance, investments, budgeting, debt management, retirement planning and estate planning
- Preparing for client meetings, including agendas,
fact finds and supporting documents, and following up on action items afterwards
- Researching products and strategies, and reviewing advice documents before they’re presented to clients
- Supporting the implementation of advice and the ongoing review of existing clients
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
Skills and experience
- 2 years experience working as a CSM/Paraplanner
- A completed approved degree or qualification in financial planning (or very close to finishing), so you’re ready to start your Professional Year
- Excellent communication skills – you must be comfortable speaking to clients
- Solid organisational and administrative skills
- Australian Citizen or PR (Must have full work rights)
