Nipakawa Steiner School is a brand-new initiative, located in the beautiful Southern Beaches of Lutruwita, Tasmania. Nipakawa means ‘wave’ in the Palawa Kani aboriginal language, which describes our wide-open skies, coastal location and surfing community as well as the rhythm and flow of our educational approach.
In 2027, Nipakawa will offer Playgroup, Kindergarten, Prep and a Class 1&2 composite. Our Kindergarten Teacher will work three days a week and share the space with our two Playgroup classes.
You will be an experienced Steiner educator OR have a robust connection to Steiner education and have a willingness to develop your skills and understanding of Steiner pedagogy. You will have (or be eligible for) teacher registration in Tasmania, have a current WWVP card and First Aid qualification.
