Anketell Family Practice & Skin Clinic is a locally owned, independent medical practice established by GPs to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to the growing Anketell community.
We offer comprehensive general practice and skin cancer services in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis.
You will work collaboratively with our GPs and administrative team to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing health assessments and care planning
- Administering vaccines and monitoring patients after vaccination
- Triaging patients and responding appropriately to urgent situations
- Assisting GPs with minor procedures
- Wound care, dressings and suture removal
- Chronic disease management and patient recalls
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and patient data
- Providing health education and supporting patients to achieve their health goals
- Assisting with infection control, cold-chain management and clinical stock maintenance
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Previous experience in general practice or an acute-care setting
- Experience with health assessments and chronic disease management is highly regarded
- Immunisation certification or relevant vaccination experience is desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and patient-service skills
- A warm, qualified and collaborative approach
