An prospect is available for a driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships and support continued business growth within the transport and logistics sector.

Your Role

You'll focus on developing new business, strengthening customer relationships and identifying opportunities to expand services and revenue.

Duties include:

- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Developing strategies to generate leads and grow revenue.
- Preparing proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable transport solutions.
- Negotiating commercial agreements and supporting contract development.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Maintaining accurate records of leads, sales activities and client interactions.
- Working with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Achieving business development targets and contributing to overall performance.

About You

You're a commercially minded professional with strong relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to winning new business.

You'll demonstrate:

- Proven experience in business development,



sales or account management.
- Experience within transport, logistics or a related industry will be highly regarded.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- The ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
- Commercial awareness and confidence managing customer relationships.
- Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills.
- A results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
