We are currently recruiting two full-time Customer Service Officers to join a supportive and people-focused team. This is a phone-based role where you’ll spend time speaking with customers, understanding their needs, answering questions and providing a positive and professional experience.
Unlike a traditional high-volume call centre, conversations can be more detailed, giving you the opportunity to genuinely engage with customers and provide meaningful support.
The role:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service over the phone
- Managing inbound customer enquiries and providing clear, helpful information
- Taking the time to understand individual customer needs and circumstances
- Asking relevant questions and gathering required information
- Working through customer queries and helping resolve issues
- Accurately updating customer records and completing associated administration
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure customers receive the right support
- Delivering a consistently positive customer experience
About you:
- Previous customer service, contact centre or phone-based experience
- Warm, confident and professional communication skills
- Robust active listening and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing longer, detailed customer conversations
- Patient and empathetic in your approach
- Strong administration and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail
