You will be joining a team of experienced eye specialist doctors and become a crucial member of a small, closely knit and friendly team with proven track record of delivering highest level of specialist care to patients, helping them to achieve their best vision. The successful applicant should have a can-do attitude and a keen willingness to learn. All required training, guidance and support will be provided by senior receptionists.
Key responsibilities
Communicating in a friendly & qualified manner with patients/carers.
Processing payments from patients, Medicare or Health Funds.
Liaising with other medical practices, hospitals & optometrists.
About you
Strong computer literacy/skills & typing speed of over 50 wpm.
Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task.
Able to work both independently & collaboratively in a team.
Well presented & friendly with a professional attitude.
Friendly & polite telephone manner.
Desirable: Ability to speak an additional language, in particular Korean, Mandarin or Cantonese.
Desirable: Prior medical receptionist or customer service/retail work experience.

Experience with medical practice software (Genie).
