Key Responsibilities
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to execute accurate welds
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment used in government facilities
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of welding tools and safety gear
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work workplace, adhering to WHS regulations and internal safety protocols
• Inspect and maintain welding tools, PPE, and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance
• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly and participate in safety briefings

Qualifications & Experience
• Tertiary Qualifications equivalent to Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of welding experience in industrial, construction, or maintenance settings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
• Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
