We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated full time Retail Manager for our Melbourne branch, located in Brunswick, Victoria, to oversee retail operations, manage staff and inventory, and uphold the brand's established standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Organise, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne retail establishment, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to J. Junaid Jamshed's established brand standards and customer service requirements.
• Determine the appropriate product mix across eastern clothing, footwear, perfumes and accessories, maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate inventory requirements in accordance with seasonal trends and customer demand.
• Formulate and implement purchasing, pricing and marketing strategies, including coordinating merchandise procurement, stock replenishment and seasonal collections featuring silk, chiffon, cotton, cambric and lawn fabrics.
• Oversee customer service operations,



including the sale and promotion of J.'s traditional and contemporary eastern wear, ensuring customers receive appropriate product guidance and a consistently high standard of service.
• Maintain and review inventory records, financial transactions and sales reports, undertake store-level budgeting and monitor sales performance against established financial and operational targets.
• Manage the recruitment, selection, training, rostering and supervision of retail employees, allocating responsibilities and evaluating staff performance to maintain operational efficiency and service standards.
• Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns, in-store promotions, visual merchandising and seasonal product launches to enhance customer engagement, strengthen brand visibility and maximise retail sales.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, established workplace procedures and applicable retail industry requirements, maintaining a safe and professionally managed retail environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Business, Retail Management.
• Minimum one year of full-time experience managing retail operations, preferably within the fashion, apparel or lifestyle brand sector.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire, guide and develop store teams in a quick-paced retail environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities to effectively oversee inventory, budgets, sales performance and store operations.
• Demonstrated understanding of eastern fashion, lifestyle products or culturally driven retail is highly regarded.
• A genuine passion for modest fashion and the ability to represent Junaid Jamshed's brand values with professionalism and integrity.
