Role Description The Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. This position is responsible for processing accounts receivable and payable transactions, including preparing, issuing, and reconciling invoices, handling supplier and customer payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The clerk will monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue accounts, reconcile statements, and assist with month-end reporting.

Daily tasks also include data entry into accounting software, verifying documentation,



resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting the finance team with administrative duties. The role requires consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance and practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
- Proficiency with Accounting Software and systems, including data entry, reconciliations, and report generation.
- Solid understanding of Accounting principles and experience with Invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal teams in a clear, professional manner.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or similar rapid-paced environment is advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
