Curis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Community Midwife to join a healthcare team within a Northern Territory community in Central Australia. Job Details:

- Start ASAP for up to 12 weeks (min 6 weeks)
- Up to $90.92 per hour + Super
- Return domestic travel included
- Fully furnished accommodation provided
- Work within a community-based maternity care service in Central Australia
- Provide antenatal and postnatal care to women and their families
- Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a remote community
- Full Agency support throughout your contract

Key Responsibilities

- Provide antenatal and postnatal care
- Support maternal and newborn health and wellbeing
- Deliver culturally safe, woman-centred maternity care
- Provide health education and support throughout pregnancy and early parenthood
- Collaborate with local healthcare professionals and community services
- Recognise clinical concerns and escalate care or facilitate referral when required

Essential Criteria

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife, with no restrictions
- Previous community or remote experience highly regarded
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to culturally safe, woman-centred care
