Astrum Recruitment is partnering with our Tier 1 client, a respected name in electrical and building services, to find a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join their Brisbane team.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll join an experienced building services engineering team, supporting projects from initial tendering and design through to delivery. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across a diverse portfolio of projects, with guidance and mentoring to help you grow your skills and confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with quotations, pricing and tender submissions.
- Supporting the coordination of engineering activities, construction schedules and project deliverables.
- Contributing to technical recommendations, cost estimates and scope reviews.
- Preparing and maintaining engineering documentation, drawings and technical specifications.
- Assisting with design reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Developing your ability to communicate technical solutions and present designs as your experience grows.

About You You’re an enthusiastic and motivated engineer who enjoys solving problems,



working collaboratively and learning from experienced professionals. You’re ready to build on your existing knowledge and take the next step in your engineering career.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Approximately two years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally within building services, consulting or construction.
- A sound understanding of low-voltage (LV) electrical systems, with high-voltage (HV) exposure highly regarded.
- Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- An understanding of electrical design principles, project specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, safety-conscious approach and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Current Australian residency and Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
