About the roleYou’ll provide practical, person-centred support to participants in their homes and within the community, helping them maintain their independence, achieve their goals and enjoy a better quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Personal care and daily living support
- Domestic assistance
- Medication administration
- Community access and social activities
- Supporting appointments and daily activities
- Working towards individual participant goals
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Following individual care and behaviour support plans

About youWe’re looking for Disability Support Workers who are caring, dependable, professional and passionate about delivering quality support.

Essential requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability support,



aged care or a related care role
- Experience providing personal care and supporting people with mental health needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive emotional intelligence and professional boundaries
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Full working rights in Australia

A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care or a related field is highly desirable. Nursing students are also encouraged to apply. Experience supporting participants with high support needs, complex behaviours or manual handling requirements will be highly regarded.

Work closer to homeOur participants are located throughout the Sutherland Shire, St George and surrounding suburbs.
