About the Role

As Diverse Account Manager on a wide client portfolio, you will report into the National Head of Diverse, and manage a Diverse Account Executive, as well as work with internal client teams to plan, develop and deliver multicultural and other diverse media solutions across client briefs.

You’ll be the specialist voice in the room, the person client teams and partners come to when they need expertise on multicultural and diverse audiences. That means you’ll need strong instincts for both strategy and relationship, the ability to translate community insight into actionable media recommendations, and the credibility to land those recommendations with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead multicultural and diverse media strategies across a portfolio of clients, developing tailored recommendations that connect brands with multicultural, First Nations and LGBTQIA+ audiences.
- Build robust relationships with clients and internal teams, acting as the go-to specialist for diverse media and providing strategic advice across client briefs.
- Manage campaigns and complex briefs end-to-end, from developing recommendations and presentations through to execution, delivery and reporting.
- Identify new media channels, partnerships and opportunities across multicultural media, including digital platforms, broadcast, social, out-of-home and community media.




- Manage budgets, project scope and timelines, identifying opportunities to grow revenue through new partnerships, content, influencers and activations.
- Collaborate with planning, strategy and implementation teams to deliver effective, culturally relevant media solutions that meet client objectives.
- Support and develop junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering strong relationships across the wider business.

About You

- 4+ years’ experience in a media agency or specialist multicultural communications agency, with a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape.
- Experience planning and delivering media campaigns across digital, social, broadcast, out-of-home or community channels, ideally with exposure to multicultural audiences.
- Knowledge of multicultural media, Chinese digital platforms such as WeChat, Weibo and REDnote, or First Nations media and culturally grounded communications.
- Strong client management, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and confidently present strategic recommendations.
- Commercially minded and highly organised, with experience managing budgets, project scope and timelines, alongside the ability to identify growth opportunities and support junior team members.
