We are growing our Building Services team and looking for an Engineer | Electrical to join us in Brisbane. You will bring 4 or more years of electrical building services consulting experience, solid tool proficiency across PowerCAD, AGi32 or DIALux, and the ambition to take on more as your career develops. This is a role for someone who wants to be part of a team where the work is varied, the projects are complex, and there is a clear path ahead.

What is your role?

Working alongside Senior Engineers and Associates, you will contribute to the electrical design and documentation of building services projects across all project stages. Your work will include developing electrical documentation, carrying out calculations and producing design outputs to brief, program and quality standard. As you develop in the role, you will take on increasing ownership of your own project scope and begin to manage your own deliverables end-to-end.

You will use PowerCAD for electrical distribution design, AGi32 or DIALux for lighting calculations, and Revit for BIM coordination where required. You will work across a range of sectors and project types,



coordinating with other discipline engineers and contributing to a multidisciplinary team setting. The pathway from Engineer to Senior Engineer is well defined at ADP, and this role is designed for someone who is ready to move along it.

About You

- You are an electrical engineer with 4 or more years of building services consulting experience. You have a good handle on your tools, you take your design output seriously, and you are looking for a team where the work is interesting and the expectations are high. You want the next step in your career to be a real one.
- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, and you have 4 or more years of experience in electrical building services consulting. Experience delivering projects within the Health, Education, or Data Centre sectors would be highly regarded.
- You are proficient in PowerCAD for electrical distribution design and in AGi32 or DIALux for lighting calculations. These are tools you use regularly, not tools you have only touched.




- You have solid knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements as they apply to electrical building services design.
- You are confident developing calculations, specifications and design documentation, and you understand how your output fits into the wider project team and delivery program.
- You are working towards Engineers Australia chartership, or you are planning to, and are working towards CPEng (or equivalent) and RPEQ registration.
- Experience with Revit for BIM coordination is advantageous. Experience with ETAP is highly regarded.

- You have good communication and coordination skills and can work effectively within project teams, manage competing priorities, and contribute to successful project delivery from concept through to construction.
