The Opportunity

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day success of our Miranda store. Working closely with your Store Manager and Area Manager, you’ll help shape a high-performance culture, deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive commercial success. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, coach and inspire a passionate team, bring our brand vision to life and make a real impact on the overall performance of the business.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lead, Inspire & Develop Your Team

- Build a world-class team and create a positive, energetic store culture where people feel empowered to perform at their best.
- Coach, mentor and develop your team,



providing regular feedback and support to unlock their potential.
- Drive recruitment, selection and onboarding to build a strong pipeline of talent.
- Lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver excellence every day.

Drive Commercial Performance

- Take ownership of the performance of a multimillion-dollar retail business, driving sales, KPIs and overall profitability.
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales, improve performance and achieve business objectives.
- Partner with your Store Manager and Area Manager to execute commercial strategies and deliver results.
- Manage rosters and wage costs effectively while maintaining the right team coverage to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience

- Put the customer at the heart of every decision, creating memorable experiences that keep customers coming back.
- Bring the Hype DC brand vision to life through authentic engagement, product knowledge and a premium in-store experience.
- Deliver a seamless omnichannel experience by ensuring online orders and in-store operations are executed efficiently.

Create a Best-in-Class Store

- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards that showcase our products and elevate the customer experience.
- Drive operational excellence across stock management, store presentation and loss prevention.
- Ensure the store remains a fun, inclusive and safe environment for both customers and team members.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

- Proven retail leadership experience in a quick-paced environment, ideally as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.




- A genuine passion for sneakers, streetwear, fashion or lifestyle retail.
- A people-first leadership style, with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a large team of brand ambassadors.
- A strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to drive sales, achieve KPIs and identify opportunities for growth.
- Confidence managing rosters, wage budgets and day-to-day store operations.
- A commitment to excellence across customer experience, visual merchandising and loss prevention.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine “make it happen” attitude.
- The ability to think strategically while staying hands-on and leading from the shop floor.
