BerleyPro is seeking a motivated individual with expertise in machining and CNC programming to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate with designers on new product development and production processes, producing high-quality vacuum forming tooling and injection moulding tools using state-of-the-art 3, 4, and 5-axis machining centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Milling Machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts.
- Create, implement, and optimise CNC programs.
- Build and assemble fixtures, jigs, and injection moulding tooling.
- Develop and produce vacuum forming tooling.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet stringent quality standards, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues to minimise production downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working setting.
Qualifications:
- Positive, driven personality with excellent communication skills and a desire to contribute as part of a team.
- Ability to work directly from CAD models.
- Strong desire to develop skills and career.
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Fitter and Turner, Machinist, or Engineering.
- Experience with G-code and M-code.
- Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidCAM.
- Experience with CAM programming, preferably SolidCAM.
- Knowledge of injection moulding.
