We’re on the lookout for a Head Stockman to join the team at Fort Constantine Station! Starting early 2027 for the season ahead.

About us

Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian cattle and beef business. Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art cattle feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries globally.

Fort Constantine is a stud and backgrounding operation, and it’s also home to our horse stud, so there’s plenty of variety for a stockman who loves good cattle and good horses.

- Stud or backgrounding experience, which will help you hit the ground running
- Confidence around horses
- A calm, steady leadership style that gets the best out of people
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Practical, mechanical know-how. You’re happy to fix things when they break
- A genuine commitment to Workplace Health & Safety and to a good camp culture

Why Join Stanbroke?
