Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team

- Permanent full-time position
- Monday to Friday 38 hour week

Based at our Hume branch, you'll be leading a small team of 7 Yardpersons in keeping our busy yard secure, coordinated and well maintained, ensuring buildings and equipment in the yard are tidy, clean and organised.

Your typical day will focus on:

- Demonstrate a safety-first attitude and provide a continuous improvement focus for the team
- Main spotter for tuck and forklift movements around the yard
- Ensuring daily schedules are managed and achieved for work in and out of the yard
- Coordinating basic repairs for the branch and liaison with a range of suppliers
- Clear and open communication with customers and colleagues
- Sign-off and checking the quality of buildings before they leave the yard

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Current forklift license and driver’s license
- Recent forklift experience
- Exceptional safety awareness and experience
- Team leadership/management experience
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Strong customer and outcome focus
