About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Disability and Aged Carer to join our team. The successful candidates will provide person-centred care and support to people with disabilities and older Australians, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

You will support clients in their homes and within the community, assisting with daily living activities and encouraging social participation while respecting individual needs, preferences, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, feeding, and light domestic duties.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and the safe use of mobility aids.
- Assist clients to attend medical appointments, social outings, and community activities.
- Support older clients and people with disabilities to maintain independence and wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans, support plans, and relevant behaviour support strategies.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ physical health, emotional wellbeing, or behaviour.
- Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, workplace health and safety, privacy, and manual handling procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote clients’ dignity, choice, inclusion, and respect at all times.

Skill & Experience





Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), or an equivalent relevant qualification where required.
- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, home care, or community services is desirable.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, as required by the role.
- Appropriate NDIS Worker Screening Check and other required clearances for the services provided.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport, if required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, adaptable, patient, and compassionate approach to care.
- Commitment to safeguarding clients and maintaining professional boundaries.
