About the role

Naturaliste Automotive Repairs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Receptionist/Service Advisor to join our team in Dunsborough, WA. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception and service scheduling functions. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment whilst managing administrative tasks and coordinating vehicle service appointments. This role is essential to our business success, bridging communication between our customers and our skilled technical team.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers warmly upon arrival and answering telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner

- Scheduling and confirming vehicle service appointments, managing the service diary efficiently

- Processing customer payments and handling cash, card, and electronic transactions accurately

- Providing customers with detailed information about vehicle services, repairs, and maintenance options

- Liaising between customers and the technical team to communicate service updates and progress

- Maintaining accurate customer records and service documentation in our management system

- Managing customer queries and complaints professionally and escalating where appropriate

- Performing general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence

- Maintaining a clean, organised reception area and ensuring waiting areas are welcoming

- Supporting the service team by preparing documentation and tracking vehicle status

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a reception, customer service, or service advisor role, ideally within the automotive industry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers

- Strong organisational and time-management abilities with the capacity to multitask effectively





- Proficiency in using computer systems and familiarity with reception or service management software

- Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail when managing customer records and bookings

- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling customer complaints or challenging situations

- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional standards

- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and cash reconciliation

- Preferred: Experience with automotive service terminology and knowledge of vehicle maintenance
