About Us
For 15 years, Altora has been a trusted leader in online induction and compliance software. Major Australian brands across logistics, mining, construction, manufacturing, and government rely on our platform to streamline their onboarding requirements and maintain safe work environments.
We are a small, collaborative, and agile team. We don't believe in aggressive, high-pressure sales tactics. Instead, we grow our business by helping prospects truly understand our software, solve their workflow gaps, and experience the value of our platform. We are currently seeking a driven and motivated Product Support & Demo Specialist to join and grow with our team.
The Role
In this role, you are not a sale consultant making cold calls; you are an educator, a problem-solver, and a trusted advisor.
You will guide prospective clients through our software, helping them move away from manual paperwork and transition smoothly onto Altora's online platform. You will handle inbound product demos, support active trial users as they navigate setup, and help them see how our software fits their day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Demos: Walk inbound leads and clients through the platform, clearly showing how our features solve their operational challenges.
- Pipeline Management & Conversion: Proactively follow up with trial account users and demo leads, guiding them from setup to sign up by acting as a trusted advisor and resolving workflow roadblocks.
- Trial Support: Proactively check in with active trial users, answer their questions, help them configure their accounts, and guide them toward getting started.
- Workflow Guidance: Help clients map out their current induction and compliance processes so they can easily set them up in Altora.
- Team Feedback: Partner with our internal team to share client feedback and feature requests to keep improving the user experience.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Background in customer/technical support, customer success, account management, or system-based client service.
- Technical & Systems Aptitude: Comfortable mastering current cloud software, understanding system configurations, and explaining basic data flows or digital workflows to clients.
- Communication Skills: Excellent active listening and verbal/written communication skills. You know how to explain things simply and clearly to everyone from frontline workers to corporate managers.
- Problem Solver: A resourceful, proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet and answer questions confidently.
Bonus Points For:
- WHS Knowledge: Experience or background in Work Health and Safety (WHS), occupational health, or risk compliance. Understanding site inductions and safety compliance is an advantage.
What You'll Enjoy
- Fully Remote Flexibility: Work from wherever suits you best - you do not need to be based in Melbourne!
- A small, encouraging team where you aren't bogged down by corporate red tape.
- A relaxed, supportive work workplace where you can be yourself.
- Opportunities to develop your skills across software product management and business development.
To Apply
Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining why you are the right person for the role. To ensure you have read the full job description, please include the word "Safety" in your cover letter.
