D'Orsogna Ltd is a nationally recognised Smallgoods Manufacturer with a 75 year history seeking an experienced hands on individual who has proven experience in a NPD/Food Technical role to join our Technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support NPD activities from factory trials through to product specification and implementation.
- Participate in product and process trials and accurately document outcomes and samples.
- Prepare, issue and verify technical recipes and processing matrices.
- Verify manufacturing processes, including material usage and cooking, cooling and fermentation programs.
- Review product labels and artwork for mandatory information, including country of origin, NIP and product claims.
- Liaise with retailers regarding product specifications and technical requirements.
- Support technical training, quality audits and QA/QC activities.
- Assist with the implementation of technical requirements and directives across the factory.
The successful applicant shall have:-
- A Bachelors Degree in Food Science/Technology or other formal food science related recognised qualification.
- Sound mathematical and analytical skills.
- Sound communication skills.
- Ability to work with pork products.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Permanent resident visa status.
