The Pilgrim Theology College is seeking a Practical Theology lecturer to contribute to the College’s life through leadership in learning and teaching.

About the role
The Faculty position in Practical Theology is a role within Pilgrim Theological College, a College of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA) and part of the University of Divinity. The Practical Theology faculty person will bring research and teaching expertise in at least one of: missiology, leadership, ethics, Christian education, or Indigenous studies. They contribute to the College’s life through leadership in learning and teaching, supporting the ministry formation program, research and publication, resourcing the Synod, and participating in administrative and committee tasks.

This is a part-time (0.5) fixed term position. This role is based in Parkville, Victoria.

About you
We are looking for someone who has:

- A doctorate in theology or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Learning and teaching experience in a Higher Education setting
- A strong record of academic research and research engagement with general audiences
- Demonstrated skills in ministry formation settings and academic administration
- The right to work in Australia
- Willingness to undergo a national Police Check and Working With Children Check before commencement
