Joinery Factory Foreman - Cabinet Making

Are you an experienced Cabinet Maker or Joinery Foreman ready to take ownership of a busy workshop and lead a skilled team?

We are working with a well-established cabinet-making and joinery business in Perth that is looking for a hands-on Factory Foreman to oversee daily production, support the workshop team and ensure high-quality projects are delivered on time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the factory floor, leading from the front and playing a key role in the smooth running of a successful joinery operation.

The Role

Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, coordinating production schedules and ensuring the team delivers quality workmanship across a range of cabinetry and joinery projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing daily factory operations and workflow.

- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of cabinet makers and apprentices.

- Coordinating production schedules to meet project deadlines.

- Reading and interpreting detailed joinery drawings and specifications.

- Monitoring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

- Working closely with project managers, drafters and installers.

- Ensuring materials, machinery and labour are utilised efficiently.

- Maintaining a safe, organised and productive workshop environment.

- Remaining hands-on where required to support production.

About You





We are looking for someone who has a strong background in cabinet making and understands what it takes to run an effective joinery workshop.

Ideally, you will have:

- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery.

- Strong experience within residential cabinetry, commercial joinery or shopfitting.

- Previous experience as a Factory Foreman, Leading Hand or Production Supervisor.

- Excellent understanding of cabinetry manufacturing processes and machinery.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
