About us

For more than 25 years, Equanimity Psychological & Allied Health Services has supported children, adolescents, adults, couples and families on the NSW Central Coast, and clients Australia-wide via telehealth. Our clinic at Erina Heights is designed to feel more like your favourite café than a clinic. We're real, direct and genuinely warm, and every session is trauma-informed and client-centred.

Our team includes our Founder and Principal Psychologist (a Board Approved Supervisor with nearly 30 years' experience), two Senior Clinical Psychologists, a telehealth psychologist, an Allied Health Assistant, and two therapy dogs in training. We work under our Expert Guided Collaborative Clinical Services model, which pairs senior clinical leads with treating clinicians for consistent care and ongoing learning.

The role

We're looking for fully registered psychologists to join us on a contract basis, either:

- Telehealth from anywhere in Australia (secure video and phone), or

- In person at our Erina Heights clinic on the Central Coast.

You'll see a mix of clients across our services, which may include individual, couples and family therapy, trauma-focused work, child and adolescent work through our Child & Adolescent Centre, and Medicare, DVA, NDIS, workers compensation (SIRA) and CTP referrals.



Interest or experience in neurodevelopmental (Autism/ADHD) assessment is welcome but not essential.

What you'll need

- General registration as a psychologist with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia)

- A Medicare provider number (or eligibility to get one for our location)

- An active ABN

- Current skilled indemnity insurance

- A valid Working With Children Check (needed for child and adolescent work)

- For telehealth: a private, confidential workspace and a reliable internet connection

- A trauma-informed, client-centred approach and a collaborative, team-minded style

What we offer

- Contract (ABN) arrangement on a service-fee model: you keep 60% of your fees, and 40% goes to the practice for referrals, rooms and admin. You bill under your own provider number.
