Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer | 2–4 PAE | Sydney

I'm working with a top-tier Australian firm looking to add a lawyer to its specialist Restructuring & Insolvency team in Sydney.

This is a particularly good chance for someone who enjoys the commercial and transactional side of restructuring and wants to develop their career in a highly regarded specialist practice.

The team advises on some of the most significant corporate restructurings and financial distress situations in the Australian market, including complex cross-border matters.

There's currently a strong pipeline of substantial restructuring work, with the team advising on both publicly known and confidential situations.

You'll gain experience across

- Complex corporate and financial restructurings
- Restructuring transactions and implementation strategies
- Negotiations involving lenders, creditors and other stakeholders
- Domestic and cross-border restructuring matters




- Working alongside Banking & Finance, Corporate and Disputes specialists

One of the real attractions is the involvement you'll have in developing and implementing restructuring solutions. You'll work closely with experienced practitioners, with opportunities to take responsibility, build client relationships and establish yourself in the Australian restructuring market.

The firm is interested in lawyers with approximately 2–4 years' PAE, ideally with some restructuring or insolvency experience.

Australian lawyers currently practising in London or other international markets are also encouraged to get in touch.
