Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to proactively work with key Automotive Dealerships within the state, to proactively build long-lasting relationships, to grow a profitable Angle Auto retail book.

Core responsibilities

- Manage and grow a portfolio of dealerships, achieving volume, penetration, and business targets
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Conduct regular dealership visits, performance reviews, and strategy planning
- Deliver training, product knowledge sessions and support dealer staff
- Identify recent business opportunities and support dealers in maximising customer conversions
- Analyse portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive insights to drive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including credit, settlements, operations and marketing
- Ensure compliance, governance and quality standards are upheld

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce or Finance - desirable, but not essential

Experience

- Proven experience in dealer or business development management, ideally in financial services, automotive, or related industries
- Relationship-building and influencing skills
- Comfortable working to targets and delivering commercial results
- Confident communicator with the ability to train, present and engage stakeholders
- Analytical thinker able to interpret data and apply insight to strategy
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work autonomously in the field
- A proactive mindset – someone who takes ownership and drives outcomes
