At Bank Australia, we're looking for an experienced, values-aligned content professional who can turn strategy into action, strengthen brand awareness and nurture meaningful connections with customers.
Working closely with the Manager – Content & Engagement, you'll bring our content strategy to life across a broad range of owned channels and customer touchpoints, including website, blog, email, organic social media, the customer app and internet banking. You'll create engaging, accessible, optimised content that builds trust; highlighting customer-owned banking and impact lending, and our work across four key impact areas of:
- climate action
- nature and biodiversity
- affordable and accessible housing
- First Nations Recognition and Respect.
This is a varied senior specialist role with scope for significant autonomy, ownership and trust. You'll combine critical thinking with hands-on delivery, exercising sound judgement to balance creativity, customer needs, business objectives, risk and compliance. You'll take work from idea to execution, collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and externally, and continuously look for ways to improve what we do.
We work in a highly regulated workplace, so you’ll also be confident balancing content performance with compliance obligations, avoiding greenwashing, working strictly within approved key messaging and substantiating all claims.
We're open to candidates from a range of professional backgrounds. You'll bring deep expertise in some areas of content and engagement, be willing to develop capability in others, and know when to propose leveraging agency or freelance support to achieve the best outcomes.
This role can be based in either of our Sydney or Melbourne head offices.
Core required in-office days are Tuesday-Thursday.
