Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in Mitchell Park, VIC. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, including coordinating crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

The Site

Supervisor will monitor work progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and project plans. Daily tasks include managing site resources, resolving operational issues, maintaining accurate records,



and communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders. The role also involves supporting quality assurance, implementing work methodologies, and contributing to continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience supervising civil construction sites, ideally in roadworks, subdivisions, or sewer and water infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, including trenching, pipe laying, earthworks, and associated site activities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications, with solid planning and organizational skills.
- Experience with site safety leadership, including implementing WHS policies, conducting toolbox meetings, and managing risk controls.
- Effective communication and people management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
- Familiarity with project documentation, site reporting, and basic computer skills for email, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
- Relevant qualifications in civil construction, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to work on-site in varying weather and ground conditions.
- Experience working on government or authority projects and understanding of compliance requirements will be highly regarded.
