About the role

Australian Performance Boxes is seeking a creative, driven and experienced Social Media & Creative Content Specialist to join our growing brand and marketing team. This is a hands-on, creative role with a solid focus on social media strategy, photography, videography, content creation and graphic design. Working alongside our Brand & Marketing team, you'll take ownership of our social media presence, build on the foundations already in place and bring fresh ideas to the table.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, initiative and big ideas.

Commencement

We are recruiting ahead of a planned commencement date of 1 February 2027, allowing the successful candidate plenty of time to transition into their new role, however, an earlier start date may be negotiated for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

- Create engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest
- Strategise, plan, develop and execute social media content calendars alongside the creative team
- Capture and edit high-quality product and lifestyle content using both professional photography equipment and an iPhone, adapting to different content styles, platforms and creative needs
- Produce engaging reels, short-form videos and promotional campaigns across all channels
- Design marketing assets using Adobe Creative Cloud/Figma
- Aid in developing creative concepts for product launches, campaigns and events
- Identify emerging social media trends and opportunities to grow the APB brand
- Assist with content creation at trade shows, product shoots, off-road adventures and events
- Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach




- Collaborate with brand partners, suppliers, content creators and other businesses to develop and deliver engaging collaborative content

About you

- Minimum 2 years' experience in social media, content creation, graphic design or a related creative role
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous social media content, graphic design, photography and/or videography projects
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and content trends
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro
- Proven ability to create and edit engaging short-form video content
- Strong graphic design capabilities and attention to detail
- Photography and videography experience highly regarded
- A collaborative team player who works closely with the team, proactively contributes ideas, and confidently manages tasks independently
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Willingness to travel occasionally for content trips, trade shows, events and off-site photoshoots
