Job Description

Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a skilled kitchen environment.
- Support less experienced team members when required.

Shift Details (subject to change):

- Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts
- Split shifts may be required on some days

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $36.81 per hour

Saturday: $44.18 per hour

Sunday: $51.54 per hour
