Diamond Specialist / Sales Consultant – Full Time

Diamond Collective is a fast-growing, female-founded Perth-based jeweller, run by a young, dynamic team. We are diamond experts, specialising in all things diamonds, engagement rings and fine jewellery.

We provide a completely unique experience from what has come to be expected from a typical jeweller, with transparency and diamond education at the heart of DC's values.

With the growth of our brand comes a need to grow our team of diamond specialists. We're on the search for a vibrant, outgoing and customer-focused individual to join the DC team!

We're looking for someone with proven sales experience, a passion for exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in diamonds and fine jewellery. Jewellery experience is highly regarded, but if you're a confident salesperson with a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you!

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Diamond Specialist / Sales Consultant to join our Subiaco showroom team.

This is a 5-day-per-week position. Saturday availability is essential.

The role will see you assisting customers with jewellery selection, diamond education and taking clients through the entire engagement ring-purchasing journey – the DC way!

You'll be joining a supportive, close-knit team where the focus is collaboration, product knowledge and exceptional client experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcome and attend to clients, providing a high level of customer service to everyone who enters the showroom.

- Provide jewellery, diamond and gemstone education, guiding clients through the bespoke design process.

- Positively nurture and maintain client relationships.

- Work towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs.

- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless client experience.

- Maintain showroom presentation and attend to general store duties.

ABOUT YOU





We're seeking an outgoing, confident and approachable sales superstar who can slide right in with the DC vibe and provide a high level of customer service to our clients.

Our must-haves:

- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in jewellery, luxury retail or a similar sales environment.

- Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.

- A team-focused attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Excellent at building rapport and maintaining client relationships.

- Well-presented, friendly and approachable.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.

- Ability to retain product knowledge and confidently educate clients.

- High level of discretion and confidentiality (you need to be a good secret keeper here at DC!).

- Willingness to get involved in reels and TikToks.

- Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays.

Highly regarded, but not essential:

- Previous experience in fine jewellery or diamond sales.

- An understanding of the 4Cs of diamonds (cut, colour, clarity and carat).

- Knowledge of bespoke jewellery design and the custom engagement ring process.
